Theatre has surely always been present on Rantatie, at the home arenas of the artists or in their gardens.
Now Krapi has a proper summer theatre arena.

The covered summer theatre arena seats 300 people and the Keski-Uusimaa Theatre group (KUT) stages plays there every year from early spring to the end of summer. The theatre is set in the Krapi park with the dense spruce fence and swaying birches as part of it’s settings. 

Krapi’s restaurants and hotel services complete the summer day’s culture outing. Even bigger functions, summer parties and business events can well be combined with a theatre performance.
